Divine Providence Catholic Secondary School, Osi also known as DPCSS is an evolution of the laudable visions of the Proprietor, the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ilorin, Most Rev. Dr. Ayo-Maria Atoyebi OP. This vision aims at availing youngsters ample opportunities to quality education in the most motivating and serene environment. Though founded in 2001, with academic activities fully started in 2003, DPCSS has made waves in main and extra-curricular activities within and outside Kwara State of Nigeria. Over the years, it has tuned itself to approved government curriculum instilling scientific, technological, vocational and liberal knowledge and skills thereby guiding the students in achieving the aim of becoming responsible leaders of tomorrow. DPCSS parades qualified, seasoned and professional teachers well imbued with acumen and pedagogical skills needed in training of students who can compete with their colleagues in other reputable institutions of learning both within and outside Nigeria. They instill best practices in the act of teaching exposing students to practical in the sciences (Chemistry, Physics and Biology), vocations (Foods and Nutrition). Other areas they excel include Visual Arts/Cultural and Creative Arts, Electrical Installations, Information and Communication Technology (Data Processing, Computer Studies).
